NOTE: This is not done yet. But it should be useful as is.
First, some background information about the trip might be helpful in deciphering the pictures. There were six of us in two cars: Joe, Christian, Hans, Mike, Emily and Becky. We had CB radios in both cars so we babbled to each other on the radio all the time. Very very shortly into the trip, Christian's car was dubbed "Gnosis", after his license plate, and Becky's car became "Fox", after the type of car that it was (A VW Fox). These words became inseparable from the cars.
Anyway, here we have a selection of pictures scanned in by Joe. The pictures are in chronological order, as best as I can remember. I have attempted to describe each picture at least a little bit, and then put them in chronological order.
If you are impatient, you can use this index to skip into some part of the trip. I recommend starting at the beginning, though.
