Dardae has always wanted to be a great warrior like his father, and eventually wants to be a master of as many weapons as he can. He always excelled in martial training when he was growing up, much to his brothers chagrin. Much of this was due to his great strength, but alot of it was due to his desire and willpower to succeed and be like his father. His size belies his great strength, and he was born with the natural ability to use both hands with equal ease in sword play. His current goal is to learn how to fight with a long sword in both hands at once and become a master in it. He would also like to become a better marksman with his bow.
If Dardae has one fault it is the fact that he has always had a problem telling a lie. This has put both him and his brother, Llarion, in deep trouble when they were growing up. Well, that is to say, Llarion was always getting into mischief of one sort or another, and Dardae would follow along to make sure Llarion would be ok. When they got caught Dardae would always tell their parents what they did.
As he and his brother got older, their family started talking of heading to Elvritshalla. Wanderlust filled both of their hearts, and at Llarion's insistance, and because he wanted to protect his brother, they struck out on their own.
The two brothers moved across Faerun by joining merchant caravans, buying passage where necessary. As their skills and reputation increased, they found work as caravan guards. Recently they were on a caravan bound for Mirabar from Waterdeep. On the way they stopped in the sleepy little village of Talor's Vale. Seeing the opportunity for adventure, they left the caravan at Mirabar, and travelled back to Talor's Vale and registered at the Yarbrough Inn.
